As for the other marketing services you mentioned, we tried to focus on the best services we could find that’s why many others didn’t make it on the list.

Finally, many of the services on this list can handle large amounts of emails. However, you need to make sure you don’t violate spam guidelines. Plus, some of them charge extra for huge numbers like that.

Why did you not add other email marketing services like moosend, mail250, and mimepost?

I’ve used Constant Contact for a very long time, and certain features are great: image library for example (I use my own images, not stock) but the image editor, which doesn’t allow you to keep the original if you make edits. They had some better functions in an older image editor which went away.
Their customer service is fantastic, and probably why I’ve stayed with them so long. Their e-mail editing features can be annoying, forcing you to use their formats, so I often have to create work-arounds. I find their templates annoying, simplistic, and corny, although they might be great for other types of businesses.

Also, periodically you are kicked out while editing out without auto-saving. Their list segmentation functions are pretty good except I find their logic is a bit peculiar.
My pet peeve is that certain functions that should be included must be added with fees for each, which can add up, or the need to add paid integrations. I wouldn’t bother with their website functions: extremely limited.

CC works adequately with my WordPress site but could definitely be better.They’ve asked for my feedback over the years but don’t seem to make any use of it.

Overall, the learning curve of switching platforms and CC’s absolutely top notch customer service are what has kept me with them.

I’m using Getresponse. So far I’m satisfied.

I signed up with Send in Blue and loved their features only to find out I could not use my current contacts and add them into an automated workflow. A complete waste of time and I had already discontinued my mailchimp.

Hi Susana, BeeFree is just an email editor, the resulting design is supposed to be exported to an email marketing service to send it out. The advantage is that some people may find their designer to be better than what their marketing service offers, so it can be a good alternative solution in that case.

Hi Anna, sounds like you’re really pushing the limits of what free plans can offer, I can’t think of anything free that would also fill all those requirements.

Can you recommend any other platforms that would cater for a seasonal busines? I don’t want to pay yearly as its a waste for me as i own a seasonal business.

If you’re trying things out for the first time, then SendInBlue would be a good starting option since you can test things out on their free plan. When you have more experience and a bigger audience, you can always upgrade to get better limits and more features.
