I’ve been dealing with this problem for a long time, and I feel that this is why my performance is so bad.

I’ve tried several recommended plugins but nothing. Is there a good company that won’t break the bank to help with this. I’m about to give up on the site because of this.
Thanks!

So after that, you can calculate the complete thing. Use of CDN and AMP can boost the WordPress based website’s speed.

I tried everything to speed up my slow WordPress site and finally gut the results I wanted when I switched to a better hosting.

A lot of truth to this, and points to take note of.

I’ve been saying this, but I think it’s important to mention JPEGmini (
https://www.jpegmini.com/). It is as perhaps THE image compression engine. It’s not necessary for everyone, given it’s not actually a free tool (but aren’t we a little too used to everything being free on the web?), but for photography businesses, I’ve found nothing that could match it.

I am also curious if you can provide any more thoughts about CDNs. I know server proximity is important – I tested this with both GeekReport (
https://geekreport.stream/) and Pingdom (https://www.pingdom.com/). But, Cloudflare (https://www.cloudflare.com/) has a free plan. I am curious if it’s actually useful and provides a measurable change in load times. Have you tried it? Are there any issues with it, especially when running a WordPress site? Any clashing with plugins?

I am already using the WP Rocket for caching and WP Smush for optimizing images. But, the new thing I found here is the use of Cloudflare CDN for reducing the loading time, I would add my site as soon as possible. Hope to get the good results! However, keep up the awesome work.

Excellent stuff!! I learned many things from your post and now able to solve my site speed issue. I have so many unnecessary plugins and my image should be optimized. I also heard that Cloudfare is alos effective for speeding up the website. BTW, many many thanks for your useful post.

Great topic and a good write up as well with surefire ways to speeding up the wp blogs. Google is working hard to give users a better experience while they visit any website thus it is giving preference to those sites that load faster.

Fewer number of plugins is one thing that everyone is doing to speed up but few other things like gzip compression and cleaning up database tables are important too and everyone should take these into consideration.

I would like to read such guides more from you over here. Thanks for the post

Hi Steve,

I haven’t noticed it correlations between Google Analytics and page speed, but I don’t think you should worry about it. GA is a part of Google and I don’t think they’ll punish you somehow for not getting 100% score while using GA.
