Paid ads can definitely help be a good source of traffic, especially in the short term. With the right conversion rate, it can even be your only source of traffic. This means, if your return on investment is high enough that you can keep spending money on ads and still make a profit, this might be an option.

However, for most websites, investing in long-term ranking and organic traffic is a smarter strategy. It costs less, though it takes a longer time to generate. Plus, even for paid traffic, you still have to build a high-quality website that converts visitors to buyers. If you are going to do that, you might as well make the extra effort to get at least your SEO in order.

I feel exhausted when I read your list and can’t help thinking it would just be easier to run paid ads rather than put all this effort into generating traffic that might not buy in any case. Does paid ads negate all of this, in your opinion?
