Hey Adnan, have you let Google know about the move in the Change of Address tool inside Search Console? How long ago did you make the switch (Google can take a while before it adapts)? Unfortunately, they are called paid ads for a reason. I think your best bet for running ads without any upfront money is to look for vouchers. I remember that Google used to give away some free advertising budget when you sign up to Adwords for the first time but I don’t know if that is still the case.

Businesses are usually built upon solving a problem for their clients and customers. If you have a psychology background, maybe you could build a business around helping people with their mental wellbeing?

No worries, umlauts are not something I usually take offense over. As for your comments, in my opinion, being a freelancer also means having a business. You’re in business for yourself. Plus, the main focus of this post is to talk about ways to earn money online, independent of your location. That and taking control of your work, making your own hours, etc. Freelancing certainly falls under that category. A lot of people equate “online business” with “passive income” but that’s not necessarily true.

As for Upwork and Guru, you are right, it has gotten more competitive. However, there are also other platforms out there like Codeable or People per Hour that have a better reputation.
